Devon Santy

LANDSCAPE DESIGNER

Devon Santy is a landscape designer who brings 8 years of experience to the BDC team. His inspiration in his career stems from the local land and natural processes. These interests manifested early as Devon explored the landscapes of Northern California as a child and young adult which led him to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Geology. As a young professional with a Geotechnical Engineering firm in California, he was introduced to Landscape Architecture and found it to be a perfect opportunity to synthesize placemaking with the principles of preservation. Devon has worked on a range of projects from estate residential to commercial and educational facilities to comprehensive plans for entire towns. He enjoys collaborating with colleagues and clients to create the best design possible for a project. New to Kentucky as of 2021, Devon has been enjoying learning about the local landscape and ecology and brings his passion for contextually inspired design into every project.
