Louisville Country Club Pool Area

BDC was a sub-consultant to K. Norman Berry Associates and provided landscape architectural services from master planning to construction document preparation for the LCC pool area. BDC lead engagement efforts with club members and staff to inform the design that would endure over time and provide new and enhanced amenities surrounding the pool area. Improvements included a new covered outdoor terrace with a full bar, expanded lounge seating surrounding the main pool, poolside lounge seating areas, a curved shade pavilion in the children’s pool area, and an expanded play lawn. The design involved considerable attention to materials selection and detailing to harmonize with its historic setting.
