Virginia Chance School Master Plan

BDC worked with faculty and staff to develop a playground master plan for the Chance School playground. The existing setting for the playground is beautiful, with limestone rock outcroppings and surrounding woods. The play area needed improvements and design approach was to compliment this natural setting with earthen and natural toned play elements. Several play elements were custom designed including playhouses, storage, an arbor, bridges, and fencing. Drainage was also a particular focus as the area holds water.
