City of Glenview Design Guidelines Manual

The City of Glenview, located along the southern bank of the Ohio River in northeastern Jefferson County, Kentucky, commissioned BDC to prepare design guidelines that preserve and reinforce its neighborhood’s historic character. The historic district of Glenview, nearly seven-hundred acres, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The roughly three-hundred-page document provides detailed design recommendations for improvements along roadways, at historic and signature subdivision entrances, and along residential frontages. The document includes an extensive photographic planting guide for public rights of way and residential properties, listing over two hundred trees, shrubs, perennials, grasses, forbs, and sedges.
