Dunvegan Residence

This private residence was designed with the needs of a family in mind, but with an eye for refinement. The backyard’s natural elevation to create three distinct, interconnected outdoor spaces. The upper terrace serves as a transition from the home, featuring a living and dining area and the start of a three-tiered fountain. Below, the courtyard includes a reflecting pool, a “floating” limestone walkway, and a grove of columnar trees. The lower terrace is dedicated to recreation, housing a pool, pavilion, spa, and fire feature. Built for longevity, the design utilizes limestone, bluestone, and Ipe wood, and incorporates integrated lighting and irrigation throughout.
