Fourth Street Improvements

BDC was contracted by the Louisville Downtown Partnership to design modifications and updates along the existing Fourth Street corridor. In addition to beautifying the corridor with a diverse array of under story plantings beneath the mature street trees, there was an objective to deter pet owners from allowing their pets to use the tree wells as relief areas. BDC designed custom iron tree fencing and facilitated its fabrication locally. Once completed, the streetscape along Fourth will be significantly improved with the additional layers of decorative metal fencing and under story plantings. The project is set to be completed in fall of 2025.
