Goodwill Opportunity Campus

The twenty-acre Goodwill Opportunity Campus is in West Louisville and includes Goodwill Opportunity Center and Norton West Louisville Hospital. BDC worked with MKSK toward a campus master plan with an emphasis on pedestrian connectivity between the two buildings that would reinforce a sense of campus identity. The design was inspired by angular forms of Goodwill’s building designed by Studio A. The site design accommodated programmatic needs including an entrance plaza, areas to gather outside, and a playground. Our role continued into construction documentation and construction observation under the construction manager, Brown E&C Services. We worked closely with Land Design and Development, the civil engineering firm for the project.
