Master Plan completed in 2022
The Maryhurst provides treatment for abused and neglected girls and young women and includes residential housing. BDC worked on a campus master plan to incorporate a butterfly and vegetable garden, along with a perimeter walking trail. Additionally, a new dormitory was constructed along with surrounding site improvements. BDC collaborated with staff at Bernheim to select plant species that hosted and attracted butterflies to provide an inspiring setting for residents and guests.
