MEM Terminal Modernization (TMSP)

BDC’s work as a subconsultant with the UrbanARCH team includes landscape and site design enhancements leading up to and surrounding the terminal building at Memphis International Airport in Memphis, Tennessee. The landscape plays a supporting role in customer experience by bringing beauty and a green backdrop to an otherwise hard-lined setting. Landscape areas not only help to guide travelers efficiently through the exterior terminal spaces by leading the eye toward features, but also naturally instill a sense of calm. Exterior design recommendations for these areas include hardscape, plantings, furnishings, lighting, banners, and other features to create attractive, dynamic, and functional spaces.
